Lifemarque approached us to develop an ecommerce site with a unique set of requirements that would require us to think creatively about a solution. The project required that we build four separate online stores that are managed by one content management system. The websites also needed to work across multiple languages and currencies to support their European customers, as well as integrate with their existing inventory systems to process and deliver orders.
We created a global style across the three websites that allowed Lifemarque to make use of a large collection of lifestyle and product imagery. Using this imagery allowed us to illustrate the distinct elements of each brand, while maintaining a sense of familiarity throughout the user's experience.
Throughout the four sites we focused on creating an easy and intuitive user experience. Our focus was on helping customers explore the full product range in a relevant way. We knew that customers were looking for specific products based on their lifestyle and interest, so gave them the option to filter by activity. Once on the product page, we aimed to educate them about the benefits of the products in an easily digestible way by having content sections collapsed, but clearly labelled to give them a high level view of the information available.
The website was designed and built to be responsive to device and screen size. This ensured usability, however you viewed it.
The four websites all work through one content management system, helping to streamline the order fulfilment and shipping process, as well as make customer and order management much smoother. The websites also complies with the highest security requirements, helping to build trust with their customers while purchasing online.
Alongside creating the four websites, we worked extensively with the Lifemarque team to help develop a content strategy that took us round the world. Shooting in locations around the UK, as well as further afield to Dubai, Zanzibar and the French Alps. We provided Lifemarque with a complete range of product videos to be integrated into the website as well as brand films and lifestyle imagery to bring the website to life.
